Mechanical Site Manager

Overview

Exciting opportunity at IT8, your Engineering partner. We are a leading Engineering company looking for a talented and experienced Mechanical Project Site Manager to join our team. Following the guidelines given by Project Management, as a Project Site Manager, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating all activities related to the assembly and installation of automated and robotic lines for the manufacture of automotive components, ensuring compliance with deadlines, technical quality, and safety on site.

You will be directly responsible for the technical execution of the project in the field. Mechanical installation background experience preferred.

Location:

This position will require travel based on the projects across the USA.

• Lead and coordinate all mechanical installation activities on site.
• Plan project phases, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
• Supervise mechanical installation teams (supervisors & team leads).
• Review and apply technical information with the Mechanical Engineering team.
• Resolve technical and operational issues during installation.
• Ensure quality, safety, and compliance with applicable standards.
• Provide progress reports to Project Management and customers.
• Complete technical documentation and mechanical installation close-out.
• Identify and mitigate risks on site.

• 10+ years of experience supervising mechanical installations for automated/robotic lines (automotive preferred).
• Strong knowledge of electromechanical assemblies, industrial automation, robotics, and mechanical drawings.
• Excellent leadership, decision-making, and team management skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Advanced English + native Spanish.
• Full availability to travel within the USA.
