This is a hands-on engineering role focused on electrical systems, circuitry, and product integration within a manufacturing environment.
What You'll Be Doing
* Serve as the technical liaison between internal teams and a 3rd-party IoT development partner
* Oversee integration of electronic components into commercial equipment
* Support product development from prototype through manufacturing
* Evaluate electrical schematics, circuitry, and system performance
* Partner with Mechanical Engineering on sensor and system integration
* Ensure equipment performs reliably in real-world conditions (water, electrical, industrial use)
* Support regulatory compliance (UL, NSF, CSA, etc.) and maintain technical documentation
* Provide technical guidance to internal teams and field operations
What We're Looking For
* Bachelor of Science in Engineering Degree or comparable years of work experience.
* 5-10 years of electrical and electronic design experience, along with experience working with regulatory agencies. Experience in the commercial appliance industry is preferred.
* Embedded Software/hardware design
* Knowledge of codes and standards for plumbing, sanitation, electrical, and building (NSF, CSA, UL, BOCA, ASSE, UPC, FDA)
* Electrical/electronic circuit design
* CAD Modeling - Autodesk Inventor Preferred
