YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:

As a key member of Rosendin's Environmental team, the preconstruction lead position is responsible for providing technical, compliance, and permitting oversite, risk analysis, and regulatory reviews. This technical management role is responsible for resource allocation, logistic, and technical leadership within the Environmental Department and has the capabilities to mentor and train staff under their supervision.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Prepare and oversee risk review and analysis of Owner provided documents.
  • Work with other departments to collect necessary information to inform preconstruction design constraints.
  • Assist Preconstruction stakeholders with interpretation and verification of project requirements.
  • Utilize publicly available site data using GIS or similar, for information not identified by the Owner to identify potential risk areas within the project site boundaries.
  • Identify potential impacts, hazards, and mitigation risks of projects during scoping and development.
  • Conduct risk analysis and mitigation for environmental hazards, regulatory changes, and permitting delays.
  • Represent the Environmental team in implementation of risk avoidance or mitigation efforts.
  • Distill risk analysis and project requirements into a Site-Specific Memo or equivalent for use during bidding and construction.
  • Provide preconstruction support including articulating and communicating RFIs to Business Development for submittal to the Owner.
  • Review Rosendin requirements for compliance with Owner plans and permits and conduct or supervise determination of Rosendin regulatory requirements as an EPC Contractor. Ensure these requirements are accurately represented in contract exhibits.
  • Ensure owner provided documents align with federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
  • Monitor emerging environmental issues and trends to guide organizational strategy.
  • Support generation of preconstruction drawings and engineering related permitting efforts and regulatory documentation including but not limited to encroachment, road use, County and State compliance, etc.
  • Represent Rosendin Environmental Team by attending and/or coordinating meetings with internal teams, Owners, and Subcontractors to update and advise on potential risks and prospective countermeasures.
  • Engage cross-functionally with a variety of individual contributors and teams to develop an end-to-end risk management approach.
  • Support Project teams during regulatory audits and advise on findings, or violations, collect evidence, and present solutions to the Project Team for implementation.
  • Provide mentorship to staff.
  • Assist, as needed, in construction administration activities such as review of project submittals and response to RFI's.
  • Work as part of the engineering and construction team requiring cross disciplinary communication and coordination.
  • Conduct site visits, as needed, to view existing sites and ongoing construction of PV, Substation and BESS systems.
  • Work with other Rosendin stakeholders to improve internal processes and procedures to build a more efficient and effective team.
