Join Our Outpatient Imaging Team. Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Multimodality Technologist (Mammography) to join our Imaging team at the BSW Pflugerville MOB Clinic
. This role is ideal for a technologist who enjoys working in a modern outpatient clinic environment, performing mammography while delivering exceptional patient care. As a dual-modality technologist, you will support breast imaging services and general radiology for our growing Pflugerville clinic.

• Perform high-quality Mammography (MG) imaging studies following established protocols and safety standards.
• Ensure proper positioning, compression (MG), exposure selection, and image quality for accurate diagnostic interpretation.
• Maintain compliance with MQSA
  , ACR standards, and internal quality control requirements for mammography.
• Communicate clearly using AIDET
  , ensuring patients feel comfortable and informed during exams, especially during sensitive breast imaging appointments.
• Prepare and position patients properly for radiography and mammography procedures using appropriate immobilization and technique.
• Adhere to all radiation safety, shielding, infection control, and sterile technique policies.
• Maintain equipment performance; troubleshoot basic technical issues and promptly report service concerns.
• Verify patient identity, exam orders, pregnancy status, consent forms, and clinical history.
• Upload studies to PACS and complete documentation in the EMR according to departmental workflow standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized imaging environment and assist with supply management.
• Provide exceptional patient experience by minimizing wait times and maintaining professionalism.
• Support onboarding of new technologists and provide training when needed.
• Participate in call rotation if required.

• Ability to independently perform Mammo and X-Ray exams with a high level of accuracy.
• Strong understanding of breast anatomy, MQSA requirements, and mammographic QC.
• Ability to provide compassionate care and calming communication during breast imaging.
• Excellent organization, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a busy outpatient clinic.

• Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technology Program
• ARRT (R) required
• ARRT (M) required (or must be obtained within designated timeframe)
• Licensed by the Texas Medical Board (TMB) as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT)
• BLS Certification within 30 days of hire
• Mammography experience preferred; new ARRT(M) technologists welcome
