Job Title

Property Manager

Salary

$85,000 – $88,000 per year

Responsibilities
  • Manage day‑to‑day operations, ensuring resident satisfaction and retention, lease administration, rent collection, delinquency management, property P&L, and marketing in accordance with company standards.
  • Meet client expectations and provide excellent customer service.
  • Recruit, interview, give corrective feedback, and hire staff.
  • Lead and communicate a shared vision, coaching associates to achieve high performance.
  • Execute the strategic marketing plan to attract and retain residents.
  • Understand and apply the operations guidelines in the property‑management agreement.
  • Respond to resident complaints and serve as liaison with corporate regarding maintenance administration and enforcement of landlord rules.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge through workshops, publications, and networking.
  • Organize and implement site natural‑disaster and emergency evacuation plans.
  • Manage safety records, loss claims, and risk‑management initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2–3 years of property‑management experience required.
  • 1–2 years of direct management experience required.
  • Knowledge of resident rental lifecycle activities required.
  • Real‑estate license preferred or required in some locations.
  • Knowledge of  preferred.
  • Experience with Yardi Voyager or similar system preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for communication with all levels.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Sensitivity to confidential matters required.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Ability to relay technical concerns accurately and quickly.
  • Proficiency in English reading, writing, comprehension, and conversation.
  • Ability to use general office equipment.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to defuse situations involving angry or difficult people.
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and current auto insurance required.
