Position: Electrical Service Manager I

Electrical Services Manager 1

Responsible for overall administrative and service support for small recurring and non‑recurring work, including service contracts, projects, and work orders.

What You’ll Do:
  • Manage all aspects of project documentation including submittals, RFIs, and project meeting minutes.
  • Supervise and direct overall work activities as assigned, including planning, coordinating, and resolving problem areas while maintaining company/project policies.
  • Prepare complete estimates and budgets for service contracts, projects, and service calls with detailed client requirement reviews.
  • Manage scopes of work within service contracts, covering electrical and fire alarm services for preventive maintenance, repairs, and subcontracts, as well as repair or renovation work.
  • Provide support for team projects based on complexity and required resources.
  • Understand terms and rates with clients to facilitate and sustain service accounts.
  • Manage financial aspects of contracts with the Project Assistant or Service Coordinator to protect the company’s interests while maintaining a good client relationship.
  • Schedule regular visits with Electrical Services Managers to assure client satisfaction.
  • Fulfill division objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within corporate policy.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of the status of all projects.
  • Instill and promote a win‑win attitude with service drivers to ensure profitable work and satisfied customers.
  • Coordinate efforts with the Business Development Group.
  • Monitor overall quantity and quality of work performed by service drivers and support personnel.
  • Execute organization’s programs, policies, standards, and procedures in accordance with corporate guidelines.
  • Assume additional responsibilities as required by the division’s operating needs or as directed by the Division Manager.
What You’ll Need To Be Successful:
  • Proficient technical and customer service skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work within budgets.
  • Extensive knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
  • Ability to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize employee performance.
  • Commitment to working in a team atmosphere.
  • Proficiency in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word);
    Accubid, Oracle preferred.
  • Advanced skills in Excel.
  • Working knowledge of CMMS platforms such as Maximo, Tririga, Archibus, Maintenance Connection, Chek Hub, etc.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with changing priorities as necessary.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Self‑motivation, proactivity, and strong team‑player qualities.
  • Professional interaction with all levels of employees, vendors, and clients.
What You Bring To Us:
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a project management, service management, or facility management role.
  • Demonstrated experience promoting and selling service contracts to meet client needs.
  • Combination of education, training, and relevant experience.
Travel:

Up to 50%.

Working Conditions:

General work environment includes sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, and bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning. Noise level is usually low to medium, with occasional loud moments on job sites. Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.
