• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC mills and lathes to produce precision parts according to engineering specifications and blueprints
• Program, edit, and optimize CNC programs using G-code and M-code for various machining operations
• Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and materials for each specific job requirement
• Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, making necessary adjustments to ensure quality standards
• Perform routine machine maintenance and coordinate with maintenance team for complex repairs
• Execute both prototype and production runs efficiently while maintaining quality standards

• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, CAD models, and engineering specifications accurately
• Utilize precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and CMM equipment to verify part dimensions
• Conduct first-article inspections and in-process quality checks to ensure conformance to specifications
• Document inspection results and maintain detailed production records
• Identify and report any quality issues or non-conformances immediately to supervisors
• Implement corrective actions when parts fall outside acceptable tolerance ranges

Create and modify CNC programs using CAM software and manual programming techniques
