St. David’s Medical Center is seeking a House Supervisor to lead nursing staff, coordinate critical care services, and ensure high quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the nursing authority during the absence of other manager or administrator.
  • Direct staff members effectively in emergency situations.
  • Ensure compliance with all policy, procedure, and regulatory standards.
  • Manage admission and discharge processes to maintain efficient throughput and patient-centered care.
  • Model, promote, and hold staff accountable for delivering an exceptional patient experience.
  • Coordinate with management and administrative teams to optimize staff productivity and resource utilization, supporting financial goals.
Qualifications

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical practice, including 1 year in a nursing leadership role.

Education

  • Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN).
  • Completion of or actively pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – preferred.

Licenses and Certifications

  • Current Texas RN license or Compact RN license.
  • BLS certification per St. David’s policy.
