$14.00 to $18.00 per hour. We offer an easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process.
Position SummaryFull-Time Retail Sales Associate (Pawnbroker/Retail Sales Associate) to join our team in pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker/Retail Sales Associate partners with the store staff to ensure customer service on both lending and retail sides of the business. This role greets, engages, and assists customers with sales, loans, and other transactions. The associate will work with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more.
The position offers an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity.
- Greet and interact with customers to develop rapport and provide appropriate financial solutions.
- Perform non-management open/close procedures.
- Keep the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Process sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Handle cash and negotiable items per policies and procedures.
- Answer incoming calls per company standards.
- Explain the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
- Communicate effectively with coworkers and managers; foster a positive customer experience.
- Complete assigned trainings and assist with other duties as needed.
- Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and perform duties for extended periods (standing, walking, etc.).
- Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
- Ability to work at exterior locations as needed and retrieve products from exterior storage.
- Minimum Age: 18;
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. - Strong customer service orientation, team player, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math proficiency; cash handling experience preferred.
- Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays; multi-location availability.
- Computer literacy and ability to operate POS systems.

- Commission: 2-8% based on gross profit from personal performance; details provided during interview.

Payrates will not be below any applicable local minimum wage requirements. Earned Wage Access is provided by Net Spend; signup is required and restrictions/fees apply. First Cash 401K is available to employees 21+. Maximum base pay rate is based on experience and skills. Management may assign/reassign duties and responsibilities; changes may occur due to accommodations or other reasons. A binding arbitration agreement may be required upon offer/acceptance.
