Description

Lead the charge in growing RDO Equipment Co.'s Utility business across Central & South Texas. In this role, you will inspire, motivate, and elevate a team of Utility Sales Professionals—driving performance, strengthening customer relationships, and building lasting brand and store loyalty. This role can be based in Austin, Buda, or San Antonio.

What You Will Do:
  • Motivate, manage, and coach Utility Sales Professionals to achieve strong performance.
  • Build and execute a territory sales plan focused on growth, customer engagement, and brand loyalty.
  • Partner with store leadership and CE sales teams to support and promote CCE sales efforts.
  • Develop a structured customer relationship process that strengthens long-term partnerships.
  • Monitor performance, set clear expectations, and guide the team toward continuous improvement.
  • Support the sales team with prospecting strategies, product expertise, pricing, and competitive positioning.
  • Use sales data, forecasting, and market insights to shape sales strategies and campaigns.
  • Maintain exceptional customer satisfaction by understanding current and future customer needs.
  • Facilitate team meetings, provide feedback, and maintain open communication channels.

  • Lead staffing, development, training, performance management, and resource allocation for the sales organization.

  • Maintain strong, professional relationships with peers, management, and support teams.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
What You Will Need:
  • Ability to travel around 50% - 75%. Frequency may vary based on regional and business needs.
  • Previous supervisory or management experience (preferred).
  • Industry and/or heavy equipment retail sales experience.
  • Strong understanding of local market conditions.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
  • High computer proficiency.
  • College degree preferred.
  • Candidates must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
