AWS Infrastructure Physical Security team is looking for a highly talented and motivated Physical Security System Project Manager and Technology Expert to lead physical security projects. This position will be responsible for the management of data center physical security systems and projects, including interpretation of Threat Assessments and AWS Physical Security Standards to assure the proper security mitigations are selected for each area.

You will collaborate with AWS architectural and engineering teams to assure each data center meets AWS physical security standards and will ensure local security teams have the technical knowledge and resources necessary to meet the physical security mission.

• Manage installation of approved physical security system hardware, including access control devices, intrusion detection devices, CCTV, and other components.
• Design physical security systems for new construction, expansion, and retrofit projects.
• Prepare security design standards, typical drawings, and technical specification documents for pricing by approved vendors, review and provide quality assurance of vendor quotes, and submit complete and accurate vendor quote packages to the Infrastructure Technical Project Manager for project requisitions.
• Project manage multiple concurrent security system installation projects and vendors.
• Act as subject matter expert for physical security system testing and acceptance, ensuring operational readiness at project completion.
• Prepare and archive project close‑out documentation.
• Report vendor performance metrics regarding system installation, service delivery, and equipment availability/reliability.
• Travel up to 25% within the USA.

• Travel up to 25% of the time.
• 2+ years of Security Operations experience in data center, logistics, manufacturing, retail, or similar industries, including access control systems, CCTV, and defense in depth strategies.
• 2+ years’ experience in physical security project management.

• Experience in physical security design and implementation of Access Control, Intrusion Detection, and CCTV Surveillance systems.
• PSP, CPP, PMP Certification.
• Ability to manage multiple medium and large‑scale projects that are complex, interpret program objectives, develop project schedules, and manage adherence to established timetables.

The base salary range for this position is:

USA, OH, Plain City – $61,100.00 – $ USD annually
