Customer Service Representative
Location:
South Pharr, TX
Pay: $17.00–$19.50 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Job Type: Full-Time
We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team in the South Pharr area.
This position provides administrative and operational support to both internal and external customers. The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for processing customer orders, maintaining accurate documentation, responding to customer inquiries, and helping ensure customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented,
bilingual in English and Spanish
, and comfortable working in a professional, fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field is a plus, but not required.
- 3–5 years of experience in customer service and/or administrative functions.
- Manufacturing or maquiladora experience is preferred .
- Experience working with MRP systems is preferred.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with document filing and records management.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Dependable and responsible.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Receive and review customer orders, invoices, and supporting documentation.
- Enter orders and supporting documents into the company system.
- Verify that all documentation is complete and accurate.
- Assist with the reconciliation of purchase orders, receiving documents, and invoices.
- Prepare and maintain customer files and records, both physical and electronic.
- Respond to customer calls and emails regarding inquiries, orders, and clarifications.
- Provide support to finance, warehouse, production, and other internal departments as needed.
- Update databases and departmental reports.
- Assist with month-end closing activities and internal audits as required.
- Maintain accurate and organized records.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
