Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking a Texas-licensed Nurse Practitioner for an inpatient hospitalist locum tenens opportunity in Pharr, Texas. This role supports an 8-bed inpatient unit with NP rounds Monday through Friday during daytime hours, with physician on-call backup.

Clinical Scope

• Perform inpatient NP rounds
• Manage adult inpatient patients with acute conditions, including seizures, respiratory concerns, and gastroenterology-related needs
• Coordinate care with physician on-call backup as needed

Schedule Details

• Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Practice Environment

• Inpatient hospitalist unit with an 8-bed capacity
• Cerner EMR

Requirements

• Active Texas Nurse Practitioner license
• DEA registration
• Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) background
• Inpatient experience
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ATLS

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing adult inpatient patients
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR
