Busser

A Busser serves guests by setting tables; placing and replacing silverware; clearing and cleaning tables, chairs, and environment. Bussers might help servers bring food out to a table, restock utensils, napkins and other dining room needs. Maintaining a high level of cleanliness within the dining room.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed, replenishing utensils; being alert to guest spills or other special needs
• Maintain appropriate stock levels of glassware, silverware and dishware
• Clean, sanitize and reset tables after guests leave
• Provides support to servers and wait staff
• Maintain health and safety regulations at all kitchen and dining areas
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Excellent customer service and people skills
• In-depth knowledge of food sanitation and safety policies
• High energy levels
• Ability to work in a team
• Excellent verbal communication skills

Requirements:

• Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends
• Physically able to stand and move during the length of shift; able to bend and kneel
• Lift up to 20 lbs.
