Job SummaryThis position will operate a cash drawer by taking orders of customers and handling store receipts and money.
Essential Functions- Maintain accurate accounts of cash that is in the cash drawer containing a set amount of various denominations of bills and coins.
- May also process credit and debit card transactions as well as facilitating check payments.
- Responsible for taking customers' orders and payments and giving back any change due to the customer and giving them a copy of their receipt.
- Maintain a copy of the merchant's receipts.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous Cashier experience is preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Must be self-motivated.
- Previous experience handling cash.
Sitting, stooping, kneeling, reaching, lifting, standing, walking, typing, talking, and hearing.
