Security Officer

Allied Universal seeks a part-time Armed Security Officer for enhanced route patrol. In this role, you will conduct vehicle-based patrols, perform detailed site inspections, and respond quickly to alarms or incidents across assigned client locations. You will monitor facilities for safety and security risks, enforce site policies, and write clear incident and activity reports. The position requires safe operation of a company or client vehicle, frequent interaction with the public and clients, and strict adherence to Allied Universal's standards for professionalism, communication, and appearance while carrying and managing a firearm responsibly.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled and unscheduled armed vehicle patrols across assigned routes
• Monitor client facilities for safety hazards, security breaches, and suspicious activity
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and requests for assistance in a timely manner
• Enforce site-specific security procedures, policies, and access control rules
• Safely operate a company or client vehicle while on patrol routes
• Prepare accurate incident, activity, and patrol reports using company systems
• Communicate effectively with clients, visitors, and public safety agencies as needed
• Follow all firearm safety, handling, and retention procedures
• Support emergency response, evacuations, and incident containment as directed
• Maintain professional appearance and adherence to Allied Universal's conduct standards
