Job Summary
Responsible for completing and posting all incoming and outgoing domestic, international, and remittance wire transfers.
Essential Duties- Complete and post all incoming and outgoing domestic, international, and remittance wire transfers.
- Handle daily review of new Wire Transfer Agreements, scanning, indexing, and filing into the system.
- Prepare daily balancing of all wires processed for review and approval by supervisor/manager.
- Research payment services requests received through FRB Fed Line Advantage.
- Provide customer service to account holders and employees with related requests, investigations and general inquiries.
- Maintain current knowledge and adhere to internal risk controls and loss prevention, reporting suspicious or unusual customer activity per bank policy.
- Maintain current knowledge and comply with all federal and state laws, regulations, and established bank policies, including internal audit controls related to department operations.
- Adhere to all rules, regulations, and laws related to BSA/OFAC/USA Patriot Act/CIP/AML.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.; bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum one year of similar banking or related experience; knowledge of Jack Henry Silverlake system preferred.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Typing speed of 40–50 wpm and ability to comprehend and utilize analytical data.
- Hard‑working team player with good organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and mental concentration for accurately performing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast‑paced environment with frequent interruptions.
- Must be able to work Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. and occasional Saturdays/Sundays during Disaster Recovery and Silverlake Release testing.
- Reports to the Treasury Management Services Supervisor.
- No supervisory responsibilities.
All employees are required to attend scheduled mandatory trainings and complete online regulatory compliance training courses applicable to their specific job function. Employees must ensure that their actions fully comply with all federal banking laws and regulations, including internal bank policies and procedures. Failure to adhere may lead to disciplinary action, including probation and possible termination.
Attendance RequirementsPunctuality and regular attendance are essential. Employees must be at their workstation ready for work by the start of each workday, remain at the workstation unless required elsewhere, take only authorized breaks, and notify supervisor if absent or tardy. Telecommuting is not permitted.
