CDL Driver

Description

• Operate commercial vehicles to transport goods or passengers safely and efficiently.
• Comply with traffic laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Ensure vehicle safety through inspections and maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members.
• Handle paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
• Respond professionally to customer inquiries or concerns.
• Report accidents, incidents, or violations to appropriate authorities.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid and up-to-date medical card.
• Possession of a valid CDL with appropriate endorsements and be qualified to operate both automatic and manual transmission tractor-trailers. Candidates must not have an automatic transmission restriction on their CDL.
• Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents.
• Knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices.
• Physical fitness for loading/unloading cargo or assisting passengers.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and follow directions effectively.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays.
• Prior experience in commercial driving preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.

• Physical demands, including heavy lifting.
• Time pressure to adhere to delivery schedules.
• Interaction with customers or clients in some roles.
• Responsible for vehicle maintenance and safety compliance.
