Material Handler
Location:
Pharr, TX 78577 (100% Onsite)
Duration: 3 Months Contract
Pay Rate: $15.00 - $15.27 per hour on W2 without benefits
Shift: 1st shift, Monday Friday, 7:30 a.m. 4:00 p.m.
Job Description:
- Perform all warehouse duties related to receiving, shipping, and storing Raw Mat FG products as directed in designated Shipping orders.
- Identifies and transports requested materials to and from various locations including, loading docks, trucks, and storage areas.
- Reviews shipments for quality and accuracy; reviews accompanying documents for accuracy.
- Uses protective materials and strapping equipment to protect and secure loads.
- Manages and piles drums, skids, pallets, and other supplies in specified areas.
- Assist in various cycle counting and taking of inventories
- Applies to understanding machine loading capacity and schedule, ensuring prompt and efficient delivery of required items.
- Follow all standard operating policies and department/site guidelines to ensure compliance with applicable policies, practices, and regulatory requirements (OSHA).
- Perform all housekeeping tasks necessary to keep work areas clean and safe. Performs other related duties as requested.
- Regular attendance required
- Ability to safely handle power lift trucks, equipment, and other warehouse equipment.
- Good math and written communication skills.
- Exercise responsibility for preventing loss or damage to equipment
- We require candidates with verified Powered Industrial Truck (Sit Down Forklift) experience.
- A minimum of one year of relevant experience is preferred.
- A practical evaluation will be administered prior to hiring to ensure safety and competency.
- Clamp lift truck experience and RF scanner proficiency.
