Business Planning and Administrative Specialist – Data and Automation, Financial Governance, Analytics

• Monitor initiative forecasts by pulling and analyzing data from the project financial system of record
• Work with project managers to correct initiative forecast issues
• Provide accurate initiative-level forecasts to support portfolio-level executive decision-making
• Monitor cost center forecasts using Finance data
• Work with Technology leadership to correct cost center forecast issues
• Provide accurate department-level forecasts to support higher-organization-level executive decision-making
• Facilitate development of business cases for portfolio initiatives
• Support senior leadership understanding of proposed deliverables and resource requirements
• Support change requests for initiatives over time
• Provide support and assistance for implementation and coordination of planning efforts for line-of-business initiatives
• Deliver customer focus and appropriate risk management practices to customers and internal partners
• Identify complex problems and provide advice and resolution
• Partner with other departments and functional areas
• Independently provide data collection, research, and reporting for assigned initiatives
• Recommend and deliver best practices and learning plans aligned with business objectives

• University / college degree typically required, or a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
• 2+ years of relevant professional experience
• Knowledge of analytics, business development, business intelligence, competitive advantages, competitive strategies, data integration, data mining, financial governance, and strategic planning
• Competency in accuracy and attention to detail, analytical thinking, business process design, data gathering and analysis, effective communications, tactical and strategic planning, problem solving, and strategic thinking
