What You’ll Bring:

• Active Alabama Special Education Teaching certification (required for interview consideration)
• Experience delivering specialized instruction and creating Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong classroom management and communication skills

• Passion for supporting students with a variety of learning differences

What You’ll Do:

• Develop, modify, and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to each student’s unique needs
• Conduct assessments, track student progress, and adjust strategies to promote achievement
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and families
• Create a safe, supportive learning environment that encourages student confidence and independence
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation for compliance and reporting
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide constructive input to educational teams
