About the Clinician's WorkdayClinicians will provide neonatal-perinatal medicine care through 24-hour shift coverage on an inpatient, on-site basis at a Level III NICU in Alabama, with call required as a component of each assigned shift. Responsibilities include therapeutic hypothermia (cooling), neonatal stabilization, and transfer coordination for patients requiring surgical intervention. The unit accepts neonates transferred from rural hospitals and coordinates transfer back to the appropriate receiving facility for any cases requiring surgery.
