Travel Licensed Practical Nurse; LPN Long Term Care; Day Shifts

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a Long-Term Care (LTC) opportunity in Buffalo Center, IA. In this role, you will provide person-centered care, administer daily treatments, and manage chronic conditions for residents in a collaborative skilled nursing environment. Pay: $1,440.13 / week

Location: Buffalo Center, IA

Shift: Day Shift (Flexible)

Job Type: Full-time, Contract, Travel

• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and track resident responses in the EHR
• Perform routine wound care, dressing changes, and treatments per care plans
• Assess changes in resident conditions and communicate promptly with physicians, RNs, and family members
• Collaborate with CNAs and therapists to assist with daily living activities and rehabilitation programs
• Maintain strict safety protocols and precise clinical documentation

• Education:
  
  Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program
• Licensure:
  Active Iowa LPN license or a valid compact/multistate LPN license
• Certifications:
  
  Current BLS/CPR certification
• Experience:
  
  1+ years of experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities
• Strong communication skills and proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems

• Prior travel nursing experience
• Background in specialized wound care or palliative care principles
