Position SummaryThe Industrial Field Technician / Laborer performs a wide range of physically demanding tasks in support of environmental, construction, and industrial service operations. Safety is our top priority, and all duties must be performed in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrioritize Health & Safety by following all company policies and procedures
Perform strenuous physical labor including lifting and pulling heavy objects
Operate light and heavy equipment, hand tools, and powered industrial tools
Properly wear and use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including respirators, skin, face, hand, and foot protection
Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather and temperature conditions
Work in confined spaces and areas with low clearance
Work at elevations using ladders and scaffolding
Assist with field sampling and meter calibration
Inspect drums for container integrity and regulatory compliance
Safely load and unload hazardous and non-hazardous waste
Conduct waste stream sampling and profiling
Follow all local, state, provincial, and federal regulations
Operate vehicles in compliance with U.S. DOT requirements
Attend all compliance and safety meetings
Participate in emergency response (on-call as required)
Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational needs

Minimum RequirementsMust be at least 18 years old
Ability to operate required equipment
Ability to communicate in English (verbal and written)
Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Experience with confined space entry
Sewer line cleaning experience
Construction safety knowledge
Strong customer service and communication skills
Problem-solving and decision-making ability
Outdoor work in all weather conditions (heat, rain, cold)
Exposure to chemicals and industrial hazards
Ability to wear PPE including hard hat and safety glasses
Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
Frequent bending, twisting, climbing stairs, and walking
Ability to climb ladders and access tanks, trucks, and containers
Occasional use of specialized visual or auditory protective equipment

Vacation Pay:
40 hours after 1 year
80 hours after 2 years
