Job Overview

We are seeking a dump truck driver to transport materials such as sand, gravel, asphalt, and debris to and from construction sites.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Safely operating dump trucks (end dump or belly dump) on public roads and job sites.
  • Hauling materials such as dirt, rock, sand, gravel, and asphalt to specific locations.
  • Ensuring materials are loaded properly and using cabin controls to accurately dump materials.
  • Conducting pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections, checking oil, gas, water levels, tires, and lights.
  • Keeping accurate, up‑to‑date daily logs, trip sheets, and maintenance records.
  • Adhering to all DOT regulations and company safety procedures, including wearing PPE.
  • Interacting with dispatchers, site foremen, and team members to coordinate schedules and report issues.
  • Performing site walks, attending field meetings, and ensuring on‑site safety and compliance.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to complete a pre‑employment drug screen with a “Negative” result.
  • Must be able to complete a post‑offer physical with a “Capable” result.
  • Eligible to work in the United States.
  • Be willing to work outdoors in extreme temperatures, both hot and cold.
  • 2 years of experience preferred.
  • Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
  • Clean driving record required to meet insurance standards.
Working Conditions
  • Ascend/descend a ladder 8–10 feet to access the equipment operating station.
  • Keep equipment moving along the specified path to ensure it processes material to required specifications.
  • Remove excess built‑up material at the end of the shift using a scraper and shovel; periodically the operator may need to use a jack or chipping hammers.
  • May perform other duties as assigned by the foreman or manager.
