As a Bookkeeper your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Record daily financial transactions, including deposits and payments, with precision.

- Maintain and update Quick Books to ensure accurate bookkeeping.

- Monitor accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes to ensure timely payments and collections.

- Perform regular bank reconciliations to verify account balances.

- Generate financial reports and summaries to support decision-making.

- Collaborate with team members to address discrepancies and resolve issues.

- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

- Assist with year-end accounting tasks and audits.

- Provide recommendations to improve bookkeeping processes.

- Respond promptly to inquiries related to financial records.

Requirements

The ideal Bookkeeper candidate will have:

- Proven experience in bookkeeping, with a strong understanding of financial practices.

- Proficiency in Quick Books for managing financial data.

- Familiarity with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) workflows.

- Ability to perform bank reconciliations with accuracy.

- Excellent communication abilities for interacting with team members and stakeholders.

- Capability to work independently and manage daily tasks efficiently.

- Knowledge of accounting principles and compliance standards.
