Description

We're currently seeking a Corporate Staff Accountant to join our Corporate Office located in Philadelphia, PA. Multi-family Real Estate experience is preferred. This role will have a hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and record journal entries
  • Prepare and analyze account reconciliations
  • Investigate and provide P&L variance explanations against budget and prior periods
  • Quarterly duties include gathering and preparing data for SEC filings, including but not limited to 10-Q and 10-K
  • Assist with quarterly review and annual audit requests
  • Research and provide detailed explanations to auditor questions
  • Assist in approving payable invoices to ensure proper coding
  • Ad hoc and other special projects as assigned by management
Qualifications

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Experience with Entrata accounting software preferred
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to coordinate and perform multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Self-starter able to work within a fast-paced, dynamic, team-oriented environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 2-3 years of public accounting experience
  • CPA preferred, not required
  • Knowledge of multifamily real estate accounting
