LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an AP Supervisor that will oversee the day-to-day accounts payable function specifically related to a merchandise/purchasing department, ensuring accurate and timely processing of high-volume invoices in a fast-paced, multi-location distribution environment. Thisrole will also supervise a team and drive process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and mentor accounts payable staff
  • Oversee high-volume invoice processing, coding, and approvals of the merchandising department
  • Ensure timely and accurate vendor payments (check, ACH, wire)
  • Manage vendor relationships and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain and enforce internal controls and policies
  • Monitor AP aging and support cash flow planning
  • Assist with month-end close, accruals, and reconciliations
  • Drive process improvements and automation efforts (AP systems, workflows)
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of AP experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role
  • Experience in high-volume, inventory-based environment (distribution/manufacturing)
  • Strong understanding of 3-way match (PO, receipt, invoice)
  • ERP/AP automation system experience preferred
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and leadership skills
Compensation:

$80,000-$90,000

Benefit offerings for full-time employment include medical, dental, vision

PTO is offered on an accrual basis

Paid Sick Leave where applicable by State law
