This Accounts Payable Clerk position supports high-volume payable activity in a fully digital environment and plays an important part in keeping invoices, vendor records, and expense documentation accurate and current. As an Accounts Payable Clerk your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Review, code, and enter vendor invoices with accurate general ledger classifications before routing them for approval

- Oversee daily accounts payable activity, including onboarding vendors, processing invoices, and coordinating electronic payments

- Maintain corporate credit card records by reconciling transactions and ensuring supporting documentation is complete and properly assigned

- Monitor invoice and payment status to help ensure obligations are handled within established timelines

- Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to invoices, vendor accounts, and expense coding

- Assist with efforts to replace manual accounts payable tasks with more automated and technology-supported workflows

- Keep accounts payable files, records, and supporting documents organized within an electronic processing environment

Requirements

The ideal Accounts Payable Clerk candidate will have:

- Experience working in accounts payable or a closely related accounting support role

- Strong ability to code invoices accurately and process a high volume of transactions

- Familiarity with vendor setup, invoice review, and payment coordination procedures

- Experience reconciling corporate credit card activity and maintaining proper expense documentation

- Comfortable working in a paperless or electronic accounts payable environment

- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies efficiently

- Effective organizational and time management skills to support daily processing deadlines
