The Audit Specialist 1 position with the Department of Human Services' Bureau of Financial Operations focuses on audit work supporting the department's program needs. Key qualifications- Bachelor's degree with 18 credits in accounting and auditing, or equivalent experience
- One year experience as a Financial Programs Trainee, or completion of Commonwealth's Accounting Intern Program within previous 18 months
- Ability to reside in or relocate to designated northeastern Pennsylvania counties
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and documentation skills
- Ability to interpret regulations and identify compliance issues
