Robert Half is seeking a Senior Accountant to play a key role in supporting the financial health and operational success for our client located in the Philadelphia area. Working alongside administrators and finance leadership, you will drive budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and process improvements while helping guide sound financial decision-making.

Success in this role requires strong accounting knowledge, exceptional analytical abilities, and a proactive approach to managing competing priorities.

Responsibilities:

• Review budget submissions, refine assumptions, and support ongoing financial planning and forecasting efforts.
• Monitor adherence to accounting policies and established procedures while helping ensure records are maintained in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
• Prepare, track, and coordinate required financial reports so deadlines are consistently achieved.
• Research variances, identify the source of accounting issues, and implement timely resolutions for discrepancies or irregular transactions.
• Analyze revenue patterns, spending activity, financial obligations, and projected income to advise school leaders on operational and business decisions.
• Coordinate materials, schedules, and reporting support for external audits and related examinations, ensuring requests are completed accurately and on time.
