Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Tax Manager. This is a hybrid position.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, trust, and nonprofit tax returns.
- Research complex tax issues and provide strategic tax planning recommendations. Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns and compliance documents.
- Communicate with clients regarding tax matters, planning opportunities, and regulatory changes.
- Assist in responding to inquiries from taxing authorities.
- Supervise and mentor tax staff while reviewing their work for accuracy. Stay informed of changes to federal, state, and local tax laws.
- Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and client service.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred). 5+ years of tax preparation and tax planning experience.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Experience reviewing complex tax returns for individuals and businesses. Proficiency with professional tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
