Manager, Accounting – TV​/Streaming; Temp

Our client, a leading entertainment company is seeking a Manager, Accounting - TV/ Steaming for a long-term consulting engagement.

The qualified candidate will possess experience in month end close ownership, SAP, managing payments in AP and supervisory exp. Entertainment experience is a major plus!

This role will be 100% remote - EST or PST.

• Financial reporting support:
  Provide utility support across the Reporting Group and any additional functions requested by the Director/Vice President.
• Accounting records:
  Organize and maintain monthly accounting records for the assigned area.
• Month-end close ownership:
  Own the month-end close process for the assigned area, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Journal entries:
  Prepare and post JEs in SAP, and review JEs prepared by team members.
• Revenue reporting:
  Prepare and deliver monthly revenue reporting, including uploading reporting templates into streaming service.
• Account reconciliations:
  Complete month-end reconciliations, both preparation and review, on a timely basis.
• Studio management:
  Manage payments to studios and maintain ongoing studio relationships.
• Team leadership:
  Directly manage 2 reports, reviewing and approving their work and providing guidance through the close cycle.
• Data requests:
  Respond to data requests from various departments, supporting Streaming Service (home entertainment, movies, streaming) and related company activity.
• Other various special projects and analysis as assigned by Company.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4+ years of relevant accounting/finance experience.
• SAP experience required.
• Entertainment experience heavily preferred.
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial accounting standards.
