This role works regularly with regional and global teams to manage event timelines, logistics, vendor coordination, and on-site execution to ensure a seamless attendee experience and consistent brand presentation.
Kennedys' global Business Development & Marketing team drives profitable revenue growth through a client-centric approach to business development and marketing activity to enhance our reputation in the US and globally.
The US BD&M team supports our growing office network (currently twelve locations in the US, and one in Bermuda) and is part of a larger global team spanning across APAC, EMEA, Latin America and the UK. The team works collaboratively to bring Kennedys' global vision and brand values to life through engaging and distinctive initiatives in business development and client account management, events & sponsor ships, and marketing communications.
Key Responsibilities
* Serve as project manager in the deployment of client-facing events hosted / sponsored by the Firm
* Support client event execution, including on-site support, and the coordination of event deliverables such as email invitation campaign, PPT clean up, relevant printed / PDF handouts, web updates, social media, marketing, signage, continuing education forms and promotional items
* Day-to-day execution on event timelines and event calendar management
* Coordinate with Client Account Team leads on client-specific events
* Oversee cross-regional events with LATAM; act as lead for LATAM on supporting execution of same
* Liaise with Risk & Compliance team to organize and manage approval process for sponsorship and event contracts
* Collaborate with internal support staff to ensure coordination of conference room scheduling and room setup services including audio-conferencing, and audio-visual equipment, drink and food setup
* On-site support at regional events as needed
* Liaise with other Business Services teams as needed
Required Skills and Experience
* Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, hospitality management, event management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
* Minimum 5 years of experience supporting client-facing events, sponsor ships, or conferences, preferably within a law firm or other professional services environment
* Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously
* Experience coordinating event logistics, including venue management, catering, audio-visual services, room setup, and on-site execution
* Familiarity with sponsorship agreements, vendor contracts, and event documentation management
* Experience supporting CLE-accredited programs, including coordination of materials, attendance tracking, and compliance requirements
* Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across marketing, business development, operations, and administrative teams
* Professional presence with the ability to interact confidently with individuals at all levels of the firm
* High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality, accuracy, and brand consistency
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to coordinate invitations, presentations, signage, and event collateral
* Fluency in Spanish is highly desirable
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel); experience with event management platforms, CRM systems, or email marketing tools is a plus
* Willingness and ability to provide on-site support for regional events and occasional travel as required
The annualized salary range for this role is $70,000-$85,000. However, this is contingent upon level of experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
