- Contribute to the implementation and ongoing development of Primark's Ethical Trade strategy, including SOPs and ways of working
- Monitor working conditions in new and existing factories, including audit follow-up and remediation of non-compliances
- Support the new factory approval process, including supplier engagement, audit coordination, and documentation management
- Provide guidance and support to suppliers, factories, and workers throughout approval and continuous improvement processes
- Communicate Primark's ethical trading requirements clearly across the supply base
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders to enable sharing of best practices and continuous improvement
- Identify, analyse, and proactively report risks to the business
- Experience in Corporate Responsibility and Ethical Trade
- Knowledge of audit and remediation processes (e.g. SMETA, SA8000, APSCA)
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to build effective stakeholder relationships
- Manage complexity across diverse supply chains
- Work effectively across cultures in global teams
- Act as interface between suppliers, factories and internal stakeholders
- Understand business context and audit programme objectives
