Right At School provides local school districts with before and after school extended day programs focused on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment dedicated to the success of all students. We build a team of mission‑driven individuals passionate about fostering a love of learning and creating safe, engaging experiences for children. Monday‑Friday 6:45 am – 9:00 am and 3:10 pm – 6:00 pm

$15.00‑$18.00 (based on education and experience)

• Daily Program Meetings: review goals, updates, share ideas, discuss professional progress, encourage collaboration, and maintain team accountability.
• Organise and facilitate daily activities: prepare activities and curriculum that align with program objectives, and lead structured fitness, activities and curriculum that are educational and enjoyable for all ages.
• Lead by example: maintain a safe and nurturing environment, ensuring children enjoy themselves while meeting program goals through positive guidance and effective classroom management.
• Prioritise safety and joy: monitor the environment, address potential hazards, follow all safety protocols, and document attendance, incidents, and observations.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff and school personnel.

• Outstanding customer service and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living.
• Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed.

• Ability to meet state‑specific requirements.
• First Aid and CPR‑in‑person certification.
• Cleared tuberculosis test.
• 18+ years of age.
• Proof of High School diploma/GED required.
• At least 2 years of experience working with children 5‑13 years of age in a formal childcare setting.
• College credits in early childhood education, child development, elementary education or a related field preferred.
• CDA preferred.
• HS Diploma/GED + 30 college credits in early childhood ed, child dev, special ed, elementary ed, or the human services field, OR HS Diploma/GED with 600 or more hours of secondary training, OR HS Diploma/GED, 15 credit hours in early childhood ed, child dev, special ed, elementary ed, or the human services field + 1 year of experience, OR ArHS Diploma/GED + 2 years experience.
