Position Description

The Industrial Project Manager is responsible for leading all day-to-day field execution activities across DrinkPAK's capital construction portfolio, typically focused on a specific site. Ensure safe, high-quality, and on-schedule delivery of major greenfield and brownfield projects. This role owns contractor coordination, field execution, punchlist closure, turnover readiness, and construction critical path management to protect First Saleable Product (FSP) and start-of-production dates.

The leader serves as a key interface between Engineering Services, OEM partners, general contractors, and plant leadership, ensuring constructability, sequencing, and risk mitigation are embedded from conceptual design through commissioning. This role is a Field-Execution-Focused Construction Leader.

Location

The position can be based at either DrinkPAK's Headquarters (DP1) in Santa Clarita, California, or at our Texas Facility (DP2) in Fort Worth, Texas, or at our future site in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

Oversee procurement of raw materials, packaging, and indirect goods. Lead day-to-day field execution, ensuring contractor coordination, safety compliance, and adherence to construction schedules. Manage construction critical path activities to protect FSP and start-of-production milestones. Drive punchlist closure, turnover documentation, and readiness for commissioning and startup. Participate in Conceptual Design final reviews to validate constructability, sequencing, and installation feasibility. Oversee site logistics, permitting coordination, inspections, and adherence to quality standards.

Monitor project budgets, change orders, and contractor performance; escalate risks proactively. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Maintain clear communication with Engineering Services, OEMs, general contractors, and internal stakeholders. Support DP3 construction completion while preparing DP4 construction readiness, recognizing overlapping project timelines. Maintain accurate project documentation, field reports, and progress tracking systems. Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement across all site activities.

Travel will be required to routinely visit all DrinkPAK facilities and ensure best practices are implemented network wide, 75% travel

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered. At least 5+ years of construction project management experience in manufacturing, industrial, or capital project environments. Demonstrated experience managing contractors, field execution, and construction schedules. Strong understanding of construction safety, permitting, inspections, and regulatory compliance. Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Procore). Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documents.

Strong communication skills with the ability to interface with all levels of the organization and external partners. Proven ability to anticipate issues, manage risks, and drive accountability. Detail-oriented with strong documentation, organization, and problem-solving skills.
