Sueep is a technology-driven commercial cleaning and painting company serving leading construction companies, developers, and property managers throughout the Northeast. We are building the future of construction services by combining operational excellence with proprietary technology. In addition to our commercial contracting business, we are developing software tools designed to improve construction estimating, project planning, and workflow automation.
We are seeking a highly analytical and motivated Estimating Analyst Co-op to help improve our estimating operations and contribute to the development of our next-generation construction technology platform. This is not a traditional internship. You will work directly with company leadership, estimators, software developers, and operations teams to solve real-world construction challenges.
Position SummaryThe Estimating Analyst will support Sueep's estimating department by improving the accuracy, speed, and consistency of our estimating process. This role will serve as the connection point between our internal estimating team, international estimating resources, sales team, operations team, and software development efforts. The ideal candidate enjoys solving problems, improving processes, working with data, and using technology to make complex workflows more efficient.
Responsibilities- Estimating Operations:
- Manage incoming estimating requests and ensure all required documents are received
- Organize drawings, specifications, addendums, and project information
- Track estimates through the complete estimating lifecycle
- Coordinate deadlines and priorities with estimating team members
- Assist with reviewing completed estimates for completeness and accuracy
- Document estimating assumptions and exclusions
- Help maintain estimating templates and standards
- Estimating Quality Control:
- Review estimates for missing scope items
- Verify quantities, measurements, and production assumptions
- Identify inconsistencies between drawings, scope documents, and proposals
- Help improve estimating accuracy and consistency
- Track historical project data to improve future estimates
- Construction Technology & Software Development:
- Test and provide feedback on Sueep's estimating software platform
- Help identify opportunities for automation within the estimating process
- Document current estimating workflows and recommend improvements
- Collaborate with software developers to improve user experience and functionality
- Assist with organizing construction data used for AI estimating tools
- Help evaluate software features from an estimator's perspective
- Data & Process Improvement:
- Build reports tracking estimating performance
- Analyze estimate turnaround times
- Identify bottlenecks in the estimating process
- Track bid outcomes and identify trends
- Develop dashboards and operational metrics
- Recommend improvements to increase estimating efficiency
We are looking for someone who enjoys combining construction, technology, and problem-solving.

Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business Analytics
Qualifications:
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable learning new software systems
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills
- Strong communication skills
- Preferred:
Construction estimating experience, Blueprint/drawing reading experience, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or similar software experience, Power BI/Tableau experience, SQL or Python experience, AI tools and automation experience, ERP or workflow software experience
