Description Manage commercial construction projects from award through completion. Develop, monitor, and maintain project budgets, schedules, and forecasts.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and subcontractors. Lead project meetings and communicate project progress to stakeholders. Review and manage contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and procurement activities. Coordinate project teams to ensure quality, safety, and operational excellence. Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies. Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with project requirements. Ensure projects meet all regulatory, contractual, and safety standards.
Oversee project closeout, punch list completion, and final documentation. Profile A successful Building and Construction Project Manager should have:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred. 5+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects. Proven success delivering projects on time and within budget. Strong knowledge of commercial construction practices, contracts, and project controls.
Experience with construction management software and scheduling tools. Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously. Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills. Strong financial acumen and budget management experience. OSHA certification and additional industry certifications are a plus. Desired Attributes Driven, proactive, and solution-oriented.
