Part-Time Non-Instructional Assistant (2) UES/LES
New Hope‑Solebury School District is seeking dedicated Part‑Time Non‑Instructional Assistants to provide essential structure, supervision, and guidance for elementary students during their daily lunch and recess periods. We are looking for collaborative team players who are passionate about fostering a safe, positive, and inclusive social environment for our students, whether working with our primary learners or intermediate grades.
Locations- New Hope‑Solebury Upper Elementary School
- New Hope‑Solebury Lower Elementary School
We are currently hiring one individual for each of the two separate buildings. Applicants will automatically be considered for both locations. Positions will be finalized based on district staffing needs and candidate fit.
Job Duties- Monitor and coordinate the lunch/recess program for grades K-5.
- Support a safe, positive learning environment for students during lunch and outside at recess.
- Communicate with staff and administration regarding lunch/recess concerns or needs.
- Work collaboratively with other assistants to best support all students.
- Communicate with nurse or guidance counselor regarding health issues or student needs.
- Work with parent volunteers.
- Assist staff with clerical functions as needed.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned by building administration.
- High School Diploma.
- Related experience is beneficial.
- Must possess basic computer skills for clerical demands of the job.
