Job Overview

Right At School provides local school districts with before‑and‑after school extended day programs focused on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment dedicated to the success of all students. Our mission is to inspire a love of learning, support schools, and give families peace of mind.

Educator

Program hours:
Monday–Friday 7:00 am–9:00 am and 3:25 pm–6:00 pm. The home base location may require occasional travel to different schools within the district.

$15.00–$18.00 per hour (based on education and experience).

• Daily Program Meetings:
  Review goals, share ideas, discuss professional progress and encourage collaboration.
• Organize and facilitate daily activities:
  Prepare and lead curriculum‑aligned activities that are educational and enjoyable.
• Lead by example:
  Model positive guidance and effective classroom management in a safe, nurturing environment.
• Prioritize safety and joy:
  Monitor the environment, address hazards and follow safety protocols, including documentation of attendance and incidents.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.

• Outstanding customer service and relationship‑building skills.
• Works well in a team environment.
• At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Drive inspired by learning and healthy living.
• Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed.

• Meet state‑specific requirements.
• First Aid and CPR – in person.
• Cleared tuberculosis test.
• Proof of MMR.
• 18 + years of age.
• Proof of high‑school diploma or GED.
