At Edu Prime LLC, we believe every student deserves high-quality support to reach their full potential. We are seeking passionate, dependable, and compassionate Paraprofessionals, Instructional Aides, and Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our educational staffing team.
In this role, you will work within diverse K–12 learning environments—including prestigious partners like Girard College, a historic 5-day residential boarding school—to provide academic, behavioral, and personal support to students.
Available Roles and Compensation- Instructional Aides (21.5 - 23.5/ hr): Provide general classroom assistance, support lead teachers with group facilitation, and manage learning materials.
- Highly Qualified Paraprofessionals (21.5 - 23.5/ hr): Work closely with students with diverse learning needs, implementing IEP/504 academic and behavioral goals.
- Personal Care Assistants - PCA ($21.5 - 23.5/ hr) - Provide dedicated 1-on-1 support for students requiring specialized physical, emotional, or behavioral assistance.
- Residential Academic Coaches ($25.00 / hr): Evening shifts (4:00 PM – 8:00 PM) assisting boarding students with evening study halls and academic mentorship.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist lead teachers in maintaining a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.
Provide 1-on-1 or small-group instructional reinforcement in core subjects.
Support students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) or 504 Accommodation Plans.
Apply de-escalation techniques and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS).
Assist with student supervision during transitions, lunch, recess, and school activities.
Maintain strict confidentiality regarding student records and progress in compliance with FERPA.
Qualification Requirements For Instructional Aides:High School Diploma or equivalent.
Demonstrated experience working with children or youth in an educational or caregiving setting.
For Highly Qualified Paraprofessionals (PA Chapter 14 / ESSA Compliant):Must meet at least ONE of the following state/federal criteria:
Hold an Associate's Degree (or higher).
Completed at least 48 post-secondary college credits.
Possess a passing score on a state-approved assessment (e.g., Para Pro Assessment).
Requirement: Must complete 20 hours of annual Professional Development (provided/tracked by Edu Prime).
For Personal Care Assistants (PCAs):Specialized training or documented competency in physical/behavioral interventions, First Aid/CPR, or crisis intervention.
