Phage Hunting. The course is a course-based undergraduate research experience (CURE), a semester-long project where students isolate and characterize phages they sample from the environment. The class also introduces students to biology and common biology-laboratory techniques and procedures. Information about the SEAPHAGES program can be found at (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). and The course is an integrated laboratory and lecture, and the ideal instructor would have experience in common cell and microbiology laboratory procedures and techniques.
The course is scheduled on Tuesday and Thursday from 2:00 pm - 4:45 pm, starting 8/31/2026-12/11/2026 (final exams through 12/18/2026).
