Adjunct Instructor Of Education
The School of Education invites applications for Adjunct Instructor of Education to teach graduate and undergraduate special education courses. The start date is Summer semester 2026.

The successful candidate should have demonstrated excellence in teaching, preferably at the higher education level.
Responsibilities
- Teaching graduate and undergraduate level courses in a variety of formats, including face-to-face and online (asynchronous and synchronous) following the University's academic standards and guidelines.
- Maintaining academic excellence in the classroom
- Facilitating active learning experiences and practical exercises to enhance student comprehension and application of educational concepts.
- Providing grades and feedback to students in a timely manner.
- Responding to email correspondence from Deans, Coordinators, and students in a timely manner.
- Using the Learning Management System (CANVAS) appropriately for all classes.
- Utilizing advising software (CRM Advise) to identify student issues and alert support offices within the university in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Special Education teacher, preferably in PA
- Master's Degree in Education, earned doctorate preferred.
- Experience teaching special education in K-12 schools
