* ** Special Education Teacher
- Duties & Responsibilities:

*
* + Create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for each student to meet their specific needs.  

+ Provide specialized instruction, adapt general education lessons, and teach various subjects tailored to students with disabilities.

+ Work closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success and ensure a collaborative approach to education.

+ Assess student progress and provide necessary accommodations and modifications to support their learning.

+ Ensure students are provided with a Free Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) in the least restrictive environment (LRE) possible, following all procedures and protecting student rights.

+ Full-time Long-Term Substitute Teacher for an Autistic Support classroom serving grades 3-5.

+ Supporting students with autism, including nonverbal learners, implementing IEPs, and fostering a positive learning environment.

** Minimum Qualifications *
* + Must possess or be eligible for a Special Education license in the state of PA

+ Preferred licensure areas may include Emotional Behavioral Disorders (EBD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ABS)

+ Minimum of 1 year related experience.

+ Experience working with students with autism preferred

+ Additional certifications may be required.

+ Copy of current, completed

Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

+ Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents
