As a School-Based Paraprofessional, you will support students with academic, behavioral, and developmental needs throughout the school day.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide one-on-one or classroom-based student support
- Assist students with classroom activities, routines, and transitions
- Encourage positive behavior and student engagement
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support student success
- Help maintain a structured and supportive learning environment
- Support implementation of educational and behavioral strategies
- Promote student independence, participation, and confidence
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Reliable, compassionate, patient, and team-oriented individuals
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience working with children or in a support role preferred
- Ability to complete required background clearances (support provided)
- Current clearances:
Fingerprinting through DOE, PA Criminal, and Child Abuse, as well as a TB test.
