Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with Head Start curriculum standards
• Create a safe, welcoming, and engaging classroom environment that promotes learning and development
• Observe, assess, and document children's progress and communicate findings with families and team members
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, and community partners
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan and coordinate classroom activities and school events
• Ensure compliance with Head Start program policies, state regulations, and licensing requirements
• Support the social-emotional development of children and address individual needs
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and other required documentation

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field
• Valid teaching certification or licensure for early childhood education
• Prior experience working with preschool-aged children, preferably in a Head Start or similar program

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
