School Monitor

Job Goal

To register visitors upon entering the building and collecting visitor badges when they leave. Check identification of students, vendors, and all other visitors.

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in school monitoring preferred but not required.
• The following background clearances are required:
  Act 151, Act 34, Act 24, and FBI clearance.
• Able to develop an effective rapport with both students and adults.
• Should be an accurate record keeper.
• Must have the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.

• All required clearances must comply with the Pennsylvania Department of Education’s mandated criteria for hire.
