We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Lead Curriculum Writer (Curriculum Developer) with expertise in foundational skills, instructional practices and content design.

Lead Curriculum Writers are responsible for developing and revising high-quality, integrated foundational skills that aligns to research-based instructional standards and learning outcomes. The ideal candidate will collaborate with external partners, subject matter experts, instructional designers, and various stakeholders to create engaging and effective curriculum content for diverse learning environments.

• Design and write high-quality foundational curriculum that aligns with identified standards and supports foundational reading and writing development
• Lead the development of instructional design planning tools and documents (e.g., scope and sequences, knowledge maps, pacing guides, etc.)
• Lead the development of instructional materials, including lesson plans, teacher guides, student materials, assessments
• Ensure vertical and horizontal alignment across grade levels and content areas to support skill progression and concept reinforcement
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, editors, and instructional designers to produce engaging, culturally responsive, and grade-appropriate content
• Adapt content for diverse learning needs, including students with learning differences and English learners
• Conduct ongoing revisions based on feedback from internal reviews and client input
