McKnight International is seeking a senior‑level Air Cargo Project Manager / Commercial Support (Aviation) to support commercial and infrastructure development initiatives at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL). This role is responsible for coordinating the development of infrastructure improvements critical to the expansion of commercial and air cargo activities position assists the Commercial Department in coordinating development efforts with other airport departments—primarily Capital Development—and serves as a technical resource to the Commercial team on a variety of planning, design, and execution matters.
This is a full‑time position with McKnight International. The individual hired will represent McKnight International while supporting project and program delivery efforts for the airport. This position is primarily on‑site le limited hybrid flexibility may be available depending on project phase and client approval, on‑site presence is a core requirement.
Requirements Leadership Scope- Lead aviation and commercial development program deliverables requiring cross‑functional coordination
- Set priorities, provide direction, and ensure accountability for assigned initiatives
- Participate in recurring internal and client meetings to review progress, risks, and performance
- Support development of program reporting (schedule, cost, risk, technical status)
- Contribute to team development and continuous improvement
- Coordinate development of commercial and air cargo sites; report on schedule, cost, engineering, and environmental factors
- Serve as liaison between Commercial and Capital Development teams
- Support document review platforms for capital and tenant‑driven projects
- Provide technical consulting support to Commercial Department initiatives
- Prepare reports, presentations, and communications for internal and external audiences
- Support project administration, stakeholder coordination, and contract documentation
- Perform additional project‑related duties as assigned
- Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders
- Apply technical knowledge and escalate issues as needed
- Support contract negotiation and administration activities
- 10+ years supporting complex capital or commercial development programs
- Experience with aviation, transportation, or large institutional infrastructure projects
- Experience in active operational environments preferred
- Experience supporting programs valued at $250M+ preferred
- Background in coordination, schedule tracking, cost control, and risk identification
- Experience with dashboard reporting and performance metrics
- Knowledge of multiple construction delivery methods
- PE license preferred, not required
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field required
- Equivalent education and experience may be considered
- Ability to navigate active construction sites and wear required PPE
- Full‑time; primarily on‑site at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL); additional hours as needed
- Limited hybrid work may be available but is not guaranteed
- Authorization to work in the United States is required
- Ability to pass airport background checks and security clearances
- Reliable transportation required; commuting expenses not reimbursed
Annual base salary range: $155,000–$200,000
, based on experience and project requirements; compensation complies with applicable pay equity laws.
